Why Are My Feet Still Growing
Our feet are our foundation and they set the rest of the body in motion. When your feet are not doing what they are designed to do, then they can set off issues above, such as: painful feet, ankles, knees, hips, back, and neck. When the foundation starts to slip, it’s not always going to be obvious. Think of an arch, and what it’s doing every single day…. An up and down motion, it’s been doing this since the day you learned how to walk. So, let’s say you were a size 10 shoe all your adult life, and one day you go to put on your shoes, and your toes are now hitting the very tip of your shoes….. What happened, you wonder, are my feet still growing? It’s a yes and no answer, your arches are falling, and that then forces the feet to lengthen.
The foundation (feet) is like that of a house, if the foundation starts to slip, then you will see issues upstairs. Most people can see the cracks in the walls, doors that won’t close properly, etc. But most people do not see the same when it comes to their feet. They can experience very painful feet, (plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, painful ball of feet, bunions, hammer toes), some start to feel painful knee(s), hip(s), back, or neck. Most of us think, that these aches and pains are a part of aging….. For the most part, we just need to support the arches and those pains and aches, will generally dissipate, if not, vanish!
